When Maddy contacted us to set up engagement photos we were thrilled that she wanted to take them around Saguaro Lake.  She wanted to feature mountain views, water and desert scenery and we were up for the task.  The Saguaro Lake area has it all!  We decided to shoot some desert scenery right around the lake, and then headed across to a water users area to capture the water scenes and gorgeous sun kissed mountain views, with Four Peaks in the distance.  What is better than love in the wilderness?  We would argue, nothing.

Let's start with the desert.

Could these two be any cuter?  Next, we headed to the water.  But first, here is a little about their love story in Maddy's words.

Scott and I worked at in n out burger together for a few year. We started our relationship as good “work” friends but didn’t often get together outside of work. Then one day he asked me if I wanted to hang out. Of course I did! We went to get coffee one night when I got off of work, he told me he knew I would be tired so not to worry about getting dressed up, we were just hanging out. I thought we were just going out as friends until we got to the coffee shop and he began telling the baristas we were on a date! I realized then that what I thought was just a friendship this whole time may have been something more. I was surprised but I was flattered at the same time. I think we have been together almost every day since then. On my birthday, April 27, 2018 he asked me for my hand on a park bench after taking me out for an amazing dinner and later that night threw me a surprise birthday party with all of our friends. I feel so lucky to love and be loved by such a wonderful man!

We had talked about getting into the water beforehand, and decided to play it by ear.  Thanking our lucky stars that Maddy and Scott were game becasue look what happens next!

We can't wait to capture these two on their wedding day in March of 2019!
