Taylor and Ryan's secret garden wedding at The Wright House was enchanting, and so beautifully illustrated the love these two have for each other. Read more about their love story in Taylor's words:
We met while both working for his uncle, the band director, at an ASU football game moving podiums for the marching band and hit it off immediately and started dating a month later. Then in april 2015 Ryan had his back surgery where he had 26 screws and two rods put t2 to l2 in his spine and I helped take care of him during the year recovery. I didn't work so I came over every day during the week while his parents worked to make him food and walked with him on walks around the block to build back strength and driving him to physical therapy. by November he was healed up enough to start working and we both got jobs and he started saving up and proposed June 17th. He planned dinner and a game night with my 3 girl friends and his cousin. We had went to sushi so when he pulled out a big container of fortune cookies I wasn't suspicious. I tried to refuse taking a cookie but Ryan insisted I take one and said it was good luck if someone else picked what fortune cookie you ate so I took the one he offered me and bit it in half and had my ring fall out into my hand! I was very shocked and surprised and did not expect that to happen at all haha he had written a fortune for me too that said "Taylor Leigh, I love you with all my heart and soul, forever and ever and always baby. Will you marry me?" And of course I said yes! He was very surprised that I wasn't suspicious of his whole get together idea but I just thought we were having a fun little get together friends night deal haha, so he was proud of himself pulling it off.
We were honored to be a part of their wedding day. These two are are one of the sweetest couples we have met, and being a part of their day brought us great joy and a wonderful reminder of why we love what we do. We wish you the very best Mr. and Mrs. Blom!
